you're sinking below, i'm using my force.
this quote is one of my many favourites. it lives on my wall,
i meticulously stencilled it and it presides over the wall
opposite my bed, so i subconsciously read it a lot.
it really strikes a chord with me, because when i read it, i
feel that extreme pain that all tend to think they feel.
a boy said to me, 'god, you must really hate men.'
the daggers in my eyes conveyed my point, believe me.
but no, it isn't that.
it's extremely poignant, because at that time, i felt what i
read. this blog is dedicated to someone, and when you read
it, you'll know it's you sweetie. because i want to say,
though love is a bitch sometimes, just maybe always,
the wait is worth it. and not just simply due to the fact you
find some person who is your edward, with whom you
inversely time your breathing, so you bask in their breath
or equally creepy things that you divulge, prompting all
your friends to mock, mercilessly until the end of time.
the non-existant regrets, and the ever present mistakes
make you grow. 'let the chips fall where they may' seems
to be apt advice, but we truly cannot leave it. love hurts.
love kills. love keeps you up at midnight for your best
friend ready to relay messages, only for them to disappear.
love keeps you typing repetitively, and pissing off your
best friends. love does makes you gravitate helplessly.
love obsesses. love makes you devise elaborate plans
to move on and then forces you to rewrite your own
personal rulebook. love waits. love is wasting eyefulls of
eyelashes wishing on the impossible. love is unconditional,
accepting, of every problem, obstacle and flaw.
and love,
love gives you no say in the matter.
